The pool areaThe heated and illuminated pool and the covered “bandstand” dining area that overlooks it form the heart of the garden.
The pool is solar heated and covered, so that it can be enjoyed from late May to late September. There are changing rooms, showers and WC and comfortable loungers beside the pool and table tennis on the terrace above. The pool is 11m x 4m x 1.4 deep, with steps for easy access. Swim looking east to the gardens, looking south to the castle and “the best view in all Lunigiana”, or looking west to the mountains and the sunset. Under the bandstand, there' a large comfortable dining area with mood lighting for the evening. A marble-topped bar, fridge, sink and services, and a large gas BBQ mean that its easy to eat both lunch and dinner in the garden, or sip an aperitivo as the sun goes down. |
